1 qt Ocean’s Halo® Miso Broth ½ cup silken tofu, cut into ½” cubes 1 scallion, thinly sliced 1 package (4g) of Ocean’s Halo Sea Salt Seaweed Snacks, cut into strips

Thai Coconut Broth

An intoxicatingly great shortcut to Tom Kha Gai soup or your favorite Thai curry recipe. No need for takeout!

THAI COCONUT SOUP RECIPE:
In a large saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of coconut or olive oil on medium heat. Add 8 oz of thinly sliced chicken, 4 oz of sliced mushrooms and half of a bell pepper thinly sliced. Tastes great. However my kids complained about it being a bit to salty. Flavor was nice. We made a soup with rice noodles and chicken, it was a great soup besides the fact it was a bit salty.

Well this was a tastey broth. I love broths, I cook with them and I also like to just heat them up and drink them alone.
So I tried this broth both ways. First I cooked with it, I cooked chicken noodle soup from scratch in my slow cooker, and this broth helped make my soup delicious. It wasn’t super salty, and the flavors of the broth came through perfectly.
As for dr8nking the broth by it self heated up, well that we yummy as well. Like I said before not super salty, but a delicious veggie flavor broth. I will be purchasing this again, my family love this broth and so did it. I already used the coupons I received and purchased the veggie broth. Because this really is the only flavor of broth that my family and I like.

i try this product wo make chicken and noddles. the broth was very good it wasn’t salt and had great flavor. I didn’t have to add any extra seasoning to the broth. I will try this with some other recipes that I have. I have already recommend to my family and friends.

I finally was able to find this product and one of the Walmarts in town. I have been to several before finding it. I used it immediately in some home made vegetable soup. I was a little surprised by the color, looked creamy not like broth and i was a little put off by it, slightly salty as well. Not sure if I would by this product again. It did taste fine, a little different. I also purchased the Miso Broth. Have not had a chance to use it yet, but hope it is slightly better then the Ramen. It was not horrible, just different

I actually got to try the Miso version because my store was sold out of the Ramen variety (that’s a good sign!). I still added some Ramen noodles and cubed up tofu to it. It was rich and flavorful. It was almost creamy but, still light tasting. It was not fishy and I was glad to see it was vegan as I am moving toward a more plant based diet. I can’t wait to get more and try it out with my kids who LOVE Ramen. I’d feel much better offering them this than the instant stuff.

This was an excellent broth! It was hearty and well balanced in flavor . It was not over powering in salt which allowed then boodles and fresh bok choy to be fully tasted. I used this broth with instant noodles but did add fresh meat and vegetables. The broth adds much needed flavor and completion to my bowl of ramen. This broth’s packaging keeps extremely well in the fridge and the size of the broth is enough to enjoy for at least two times. You can easily make authentic tasting ramen with Halo Ramen Broth. I am eagerly looking forward to trying the Miso Broth. Halo Broth will become a stable in my panty.

I was overwhelmed by the smell. It smelled so flavor full nice beef aroma. So when I took my first bite I was shocked on how little the flavors popped. I tried mine with rice noodles. This was ok if you are cooking any kind of Ramen noodles. That being said I was not big on the ramen broth. It fell a little flat for me. But if you have the time and the right seasoning, can fix that.

What I liked about this Ramen Broth by Ocean’s Halo is the convenience and the clean simple ingredients. I like how this product is gluten-free, organic, and non-GMO, and doesn’t contain MSG, which is often what we find in a lot of broth or quick-serve ramen products. This product is also safe for those pure vegans. I like the packaging as well.

Taste wise, the ramen is decent and has a good amount of umami flavors considering it contains no animal products. The miso flavor was a little too salty to my taste. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this product. It makes it easier to prepare a meal, and all I needed to do was to boil my own noodles and add in my own toppings. The price was a little steep, but it is certainly a trade-off for the organic ingredients and the ease of usage.
