Delicious! We tried the miso variety of Ramen Broth. It was very flavorful without too much sodium. We enjoyed it traditionally with tofu, seaweed, and green onions. We also tried it with ramen noodles and veggies. Everyone thought the broth was homemade with miso paste.

Joanna B. from Cape Coral, Florida

This is great for a quick, easy to prepare, tasty soup! I made it in minutes and the family enjoyed every bite! Looking forward to trying the Pho and Thai Coconut if I can find it available in my area!!

3
Leanna C. from Elgin, Illinois

I received my coupon and was able to find this product easily at my local Walmart. I made a simple ramen with instant noodles and fresh veggies. My husband and I really enjoyed using this broth and our next project will be soba noddles. I’m excited to try more

3
Debby R. from Lutz, Florida

Well this was OK but not much of a flavor for me. There is like a hint of fishy flavor not bad at all. I will be buying this when I need broth for now on. #sponsorSocialnature

4
Charlotte W. from Saint Marys, Georgia

This product tasted good but could have had a better taste, it smelled a little weird but that’s not a big issue. It was easy to make and mixed with other ingredients it creates a very tasty meal! I highly recommend this for cooking with.

5
Q W. from Las Vegas, Nevada

I loved this! This ramen broth is flavorful and tasty. It tastes great with noodles. I also love how it’s made with organic and clean ingredients. I would definitely purchase this and recommend it to others.

5
Christy B. from Springfield, Ohio

I could really get creative with this product. It is so much better than the average broth. I tried it with butternut squash noodles. I look forward to using it often.

5
Tristann G. from Vancouver, Washington

My husband and I tried the Original Ramen Broth and we both loved it. We used in our egg roll stir fry, and drank it straight to warm us up after a chilly day. It’s very versatile and easy to use it as a soup base or to add flavor to noodles, veggies, and or a stir fry.

Leanna S. from Collegeville, Pennsylvania

I was really excited to try this, knowing that my kids (and I) love Asian noodle soups. When I first opened up the carton and poured some out, I was surprised at the kind of grey, opaque color of the broth. I guess some ramens I’ve had do have cloudy broths, but this one is so cloudy that it doesn’t look the most appetizing. My 10 year old also commented on the odd color – it put it in her mind from the start that there was something to be hesitant about. The flavor, however, was overall pretty tasty. My only comment there is that it was a bit too salty to me. I used it for soup with udon noodles, snow peas, mushrooms, and tofu. Made for a nice, quick dinner and I took some leftovers for lunch the next day at work.

Maria P. from Peabody, Massachusetts

It was a little difficult to find this product in my area. But I finally found it at a walmart store and I am so happy about it. It tastes so good with noodles. Everyone must try it!

4
Marisol P. from Hayward, California

This broth was a bit weird in color. It looked very cloudy and it had a strong scent. I tried it and it tasted fine, and I liked that it wasn’t salty. When I made my ramen dish, the noodles and veggies absorbed some of the flavor of the broth and I liked how it tasted all together. This broth is quite tasty it’s just the smell and color that’s a bit off putting.

4
Nancy H. from Houston, Texas

I tried the original ramen broth and I totally loved it. It was surprisingly very flavorful despite how it’s made with vegan ingredients. I like how it goes well with any type of noodle, protein, and vegetables. It is versatile and easy to use it as a base soup to give more flavor. I would purchase this more often if it was available other than Walmart. I also wish that my store carried other flavors as well. #gotitfree #socialnature #trefree

4
kendra K. from Sanford, Florida

I loved that Ocean’s Halo ramen broth gave a good Asian flavor to the food. I didn’t have to add any other spices to the dish, all i did was heat it up.

5
Katherine H. from Athens, Georgia

THE ABSOLUTE BEST! This stuff is great! I made a great soup out of it with noodles, veggies and chicken! It was the PERFECT broth and it tastes incredibe!

3
Nicole G. from Phoenix, Arizona

I had a little trouble finding this product and once I did, I didn’t really have a purpose in using it right away. I had to find a time to incorporate it. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

4
Lattia M. from Saint Petersburg, Florida

i used this with chicken cuts and it was delicious tastes the same as other brand that i use,i like the size of the package and found it in store near me

5
Sheila R. from Tampa, Florida

I was so excited to try this in my ramen as I can’t use the seasoning that comes with it since I am vegetarian. Love it! It’s so tasty and really adds depth to my soup. Not to mention it’s so convenient to use. I will being keeping this in stock in my pantry from now on.

5
Carlean G. from Jacksonville, Florida

I received a free coupon from Social Nature to try Ramen broth.#gotitfree. I got the product from Walmart in the Asian section. I made ramen noodles with chicken and used he Ramen broth. It had a good consistency and flavor. The flavor was not bland but robust taste. I would use it in my other soups and stock dishes.

5
Pamela E. from New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Wonderful wonderful!!!! So versatile too! I had it plain in a cup like broth and it was YUMMY! Also replaced liquid with this and cooked brown rice for dinner — amazing! Cooked pasta in it and served the pasta in it — so good! Also note, the sodium and saltiness are LOW — awesomeness indeed!

3
Jessica B. from Sandy, Utah

The product was very high in sodium. Broth products are normally high in sodium though. The broth had kelp in it which is very cool and different. Good flavor!

1
Laurie S. from Glendale, Wisconsin

like the taste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5
illy J. from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I loved it, specially if I have egg noodle and I just blend it together with veggiecooked chicken nd mixed the broth and we done. Dinner??

4
Sandra G. from Horseheads, New York

I used the broth in a stroganoff type meal for my family. It gave it a rich, hearty flavor that we all enjoyed. I like that it is made with sustainable ingredients and organic. I feel like it is better for my family. The down side is I had a hard time finding it in the store. It is not with other broths. I found it in the Asian food isle. #GotItFree

5
Mina B. from Denver, Colorado

Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth is packed with flavor! I used this ramen broth to make a veggie soup and it was so yummy! Since this broth is made from kelp it adds great umami flavor. I’m definitely going to be adding this broth to my pantry.

4
Lori D. from Denver, Colorado

First off, I’m sure I wasn’t paying attention but when I think ramen, I think broth made with animal products. So when I picked this up and saw it was vegan, I was surprised.. So this is good or you and tastes good too. I love things you can customize. I made wonton soup with this, but the possibilities are endless. I bought the miso broth and I’m looking forward to trying that too.

4
Sally G. from Fairview Heights, Illinois

I love using chicken broth to make wonton soup so I was excited to get this and to try it out. Before I tried it, I was a little hesitant when I saw the nutritional facts. I liked the calorie count, the amount of protein and the fact that there is zero sugar, but I typically purchase a broth that is a little lower in sodium. It tasted great, though I could taste the sodium, but I think that’s just because I’m more used to a lower sodium diet. This probably wouldn’t be my first choice for myself, but if I was making a large enough batch of soup, I may use a combination of this and a low sodium broth! Thanks for sending this to me!!

4
Lynn S. from Cincinnati, Ohio

Trying to make authentic ramen at home is a bit of a challenge. This broth was really tasty and made it easier to create the dish. i really enjoyed it.

5
Athylia P. from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

It was very easy to find and use! I loved the breadth of flavors and nutritious ingredients! It made a fantastic noodle dish, and for someone who loves making noodle soups, this is a great base!

3
Sabrina G. from Laguna Niguel, California

It was okay, I just didn’t enjoy the flavor that much. It’s not really like traditional ramen broth, a bit too “fishy” versus a ramen stock. .

1
Karlie F. from Flowood, Mississippi

This ramen broth left a lot to be desired. I have been to Japan so I guess I”m biased as to what good ramen broth should taste like, but this was not it. It was tasteless and bland. I personally did not like the milky taste of it. I heated up my ramen broth and poured it over some ramen noodles I brought back from Japan. I also cooked a pork tenderloin I seasoned in the oven to slice thinly to put in the ramen. In my ramen I added spinach, corn, porn, bean sprouts, green onion, and soy sauce. Although I added all these things the ramen broth was not any better. Thank goodness the pork was flavorful otherwise I would have not been able to eat it. I appreciate the company trying something new with a seaweed broth, but it needed more.

3
Crystal H. from Santa Clarita, California

Although the ingredients were organic and clean I would prefer less soy and no natural flavors. I buy products based on the ingredients used so I would not personally purchase this product for my family.

5
Millicent M. from Pinellas Park, Florida

I wanted to try this out because I have read so much about the health benefits of seaweed so I thought I would try this out. I’m no chef but I used this in a slow cooker recipe for a homemade chicken noodle soup and it was delicious. This broth is much more flavorful than chicken broth and I love that it is made from seaweed!

5
Donna R. from Midlothian, Illinois

I was really surprised at how great this broth was and how it really enhanced several recipes for me. I used it with egg noodles in the slow cooker and added vegetables like celery, carrots and onion. I also tried it with a slow cooker roast and added a cup and it really helped enhance the flavor of the roast and made au jus for sandwiches. I will definitely be buying it in the future.

4
Joann L. from Milpitas, California

I like it as a base for a meal I am making. it is very rich and like as a substitute for my regular chicken broth and beef broth. I will purchase it again!

4
Elizabeth S. from Chino, California

I bought the ramen and miso at a walmart in the asian aisle. It was a hassle to find it since it wasn’t in their system and said online only in several walmarts near my work and home.

The taste was pretty close to what I ate in restaurants, It was a bit salty for my tastes but my brothers liked it when I cooked it with fresh ramen noodles and vegetables.

5
Geri B. from Henrico, Virginia

Tried the Miso and the Ramen broths- absolutely loved the Ramen broth!! Yes, it made a good soup, but it was the key to taking my vegetable lo mein to a higher flavor level. No more take out for us!!

3
serena S. from Salt Lake City, Utah

This broth was decent. There weren’t many varieties at my Walmart location. I’d be interested to try more varieties. Not all are gluten-free.

4
Karen S. from North Tonawanda, New York

I used this product in a soup preparation, it had really good flavor, just saltier than I typically care for. Adding more vegetables remedied the saltiness. Not sure I’d really buy regularly as I usually just eat ramen out, but it was nice for a change and was quick and easy to prepare.

4
Christa P. from New York, New York

It was hard to find this in a store near me so I hope the availability increases soon because it was worth the wait. I love the idea of buying a pre-made broth because I appreciate the convenience of it but I also love to cook, so I still get to make this my own by selecting which ingredients I want to put in the broth. It was fun picking out the type of noodles, protein, and veggies to put in it and I like that I can make a different ramen each time, by changing which ingredients to put in it. The taste of the broth was flavorful, although I wish the sodium was lower but the ingredients are clean so the sodium comes from natural kelp ingredients, which is great.

5
Kat H. from Colorado Springs, Colorado

My children and I really enjoyed this. I have very picky eaters. We tried the ramen broth as opposed to the other one. Will definitely buy this again.

4
Tiffany M. from Lincoln, Nebraska

Simple and easy to use. Just add your own ingredients and eat away. Healthy – but didn’t taste bad. Easily available at Wal-Mart. Absolutely would recommend for chefs and non chefs.

5
Katelyn M. from Westminster, Colorado

Such a yummy vegan broth! Easy to just add vegetables and noodles to make a vegan/vegetarian meal. Super convenient since you can find it in your local Walmart.

4
Rebecca B. from Pensacola, Florida

This was a wonderful compliment to our ramen! It was full of flavor & was also convenient, which was an added bonus! Because homemade ramen broth, while worth it,tends to be time-consuming to make & in these fast-paced times we live in,this is a wonderful & healthy option! I definitely plan on trying some of the other Ocean’s Halo broth flavors!

4
Sharon J. from North Little Rock, Arkansas

This Ramen broth turned out to be pretty tasty. I made egg drop soup with my sample. And the broth is a reasonable price to purchase on a regular basis!

5
Kyla C. from Perris, California

This ramen broth was so delicious. We put our ramen broth over soba noodles some veggies and shrimp. I really liked the fresh flavor that this broth has and I also like that I can conveniently find it at my local Walmart. My roommate really liked the Miso broth. I really don’t like miso broth myself but I use the voucher to get them some because I know how much they liked it and we had already tried the ramen broth and wanted to expand our knowledge of the brand. What I can say is between my opinion and their opinion we all love Ocean’s Halo broths.

4
Dana P. from Reno, Nevada

I received a free sample of Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth from SocialNature, and I have to say that it is very good. Instead of making ramen, I roasted off some potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, celery and mushrooms and made a delicious veggie soup. After roasting the veggies, I just popped it all (plus some rotini pasta) into my slow cooker for a few hours and just like that! a delicious, healthy soup.
It worked very well for me because it has great flavor and is very convenient (a lot easier than making homemade broth, that’s for sure!)
Besides the great taste, I love the fact that this broth is organic and non-GMO, qualities that are very important to me.
I will definitely be buying this product as the price is reasonable and I have already recommended this to my friends.

5
Dana L. from Canton, Georgia

This was really tasty and flavorful ramen broth. I loved the crisp, warm taste and fullness of flavor that it provided with a much cleaner ingredient list than other boxed items. My one complaint was it was rather difficult to find within the store.

4
Cias S. from Parma Heights , Ohio

This was tasted exactly how I expected – like beef ramen. It had a very good depth of flavor and worked great in my pho. It was a bit salty – but not bad for a ready made broth. Will purchase again for the next time I make any soup

4
Claudia T. from Watauga, Texas

I was surprised on the taste of the product it’s a kelp broth. it does have a more earthy taste, you wouldn’t tell your drinking seaweed water. I think at this is wonderful for vegans and vegetarians alike to give an alternative because it’s so rich in nutrients and its taste isn’t that bad. I liked it but I don’t think I’ll continue to purchase it

5
Jennifer C. from Atlanta, Georgia

The Ocean’s Halo broth that I got was spectacular. I was honestly content to just drink it as it was, though I added some udon, tofu, mushrooms, and scallions to spruce it up. The broth was definitely salty, but that’s generally what I expect (and like) from a ramen. For the price point, it’s a fantastic broth. My only complaint was that it was a bit tricky to find—I took a chance and stopped in two different WalMarts and neither carried the product, so just be mindful that you might have to search a bit.
