An intoxicatingly great shortcut to Tom Kha Gai soup or your favorite Thai curry recipe. No need for takeout!

THAI COCONUT SOUP RECIPE:
In a large saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of coconut or olive oil on medium heat. Add 8 oz of thinly sliced chicken, 4 oz of sliced mushrooms and half of a bell pepper thinly sliced. I would definitely buy this brand again! I love the taste. I used it as a base for a garlic mushroom ramen and ate it with my cousin. It was delicious and very easy to use. While this product wasn’t the easiest to find in stores, I am glad that I was able to locate it! I cooked ramen for the family using it, and it’s one of the only products I’ve used in comparison to a homemade broth. Since I only ave home cooking to compare it to, and still enjoyed it immensely, I would one hundred percent recommend it to anyone who is interested in enjoying a great meal. I was a bit nervous in trying this for my family because of the seaweed aspect, but I was worried for nothing as my family enjoyed it and I was able to keep the meal all vegetarian by using tofu instead of meat alongside the noodles and veggies. I do wish it would last longer than ten days after opening it though. However, I was able to use up the rest by mixing a little bit in with my dogs’ food for them to enjoy as well!

Just received my coupon to try Ramen Broth so I headed down to our local Walmart to see if they had it, they did. They had two flavors ramen or miso I opted for the miso because I love me some miso. All I had to purchase was tofu and some veggies to put in broth. Finally got my items and headed home to prepare miso soup. Super easy to make and it did taste like I was at a tia restaurant eating my miso soup. Definitely recommend!

I love authentic ramen and I used to work for a restaurant that served gourmet ramen bowls. This is defiantly the closet thing I found in a major retail grocery store to make ramen at home. The ingredients are one of the cleanest I’ve seen as well compared to mainstream ramen that you buy by the dime. The fact that you have to use it or lose it after a week of initial opening goes to show that its not loaded with a bunch of preservatives. The taste is not too salty which can be fixed with your own soy sauce or seaweed. I will defiantly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys noodles!

I was a little nervous making this because it was the first time that I had attempted making some ramen noodles. When I poured it into the pan I thought it smelled a little funky. I added some spices and then some noddles then I served it with some veggies and an egg. My father and I were nervous to try it but it was a very pleasant surprise. The broth was decent I just had an issue with the texture. It was good when it is first heated with noodles and vegetables. However, storing the leftovers resulted in a unappetizing sludge. The broth got thick and lacked flavors the next day. Just use right away and maybe dilute it with water.

This is really surprising, and so good! As a kid I always ate tons of ramen, and still do. I like the broth because it taste really good, reminded me of regular ramen broth. I loved this broth so much it’s so convienent and tastes great! I grilled some tofu and bok choy and added scallions and corn and the ramen tastes amazing. Making homemade broth is very lengthy and this makes it convienent. I’m very happy that this exists because I will be buying this much more and trying other variations in my ramen as well. This is a very flavorful broth. I’ve only had cheap ramen noodles before, so I can’t compare this to the real deal, but it is certainly better than those 33 cent packages of noodles. The broth is flavorful enough that you could use it with just plain noodles, but the flavor won’t overpower the other ingredients if you use it in a dish with many ingredients.

I thought this was a pretty basic broth on its own. It is more flavorful than the standard vegetable or chicken so I feel it makes a great base for noodles. I can make a similar vegetable-based ramen at home with shittake mushrooms, kelp, and miso for umami. But often I don’t make broth at home because it takes too long so this is a good grab and go option. It makes around 2-3 large servings. In my ramen, I added edamame, chopped broccoli, fried tofu, crispy onions and shredded seaweed on top. It’s a good veggie ramen but THEN I blended the broth with a large spoonful of tahini to make it creamy. My lord, it elevates the flavor tenfold. Definitely try it if you have tahini. I don’t know know any other ready ramen broths so I would buy it again on a whim.

I don’t know if it’s just the Ocean’s Halo brand that I don’t like or if it is these last two products – the seaweed and the broth. Disgusting, poor quality and do not recommend. Had a very earthy taste that event glass of water didn’t clear from my mouth.
