An intoxicatingly great shortcut to Tom Kha Gai soup or your favorite Thai curry recipe. No need for takeout!

THAI COCONUT SOUP RECIPE:
In a large saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of coconut or olive oil on medium heat. Add 8 oz of thinly sliced chicken, 4 oz of sliced mushrooms and half of a bell pepper thinly sliced. I’d never heard or seen Ramen broth before, but I love Ramen noodles, so I thought it would be neat to try. Thanks to Social Nature for the free coupon! Easily picked up at my local Walmart store. It tastes healthier than the broth that is made in a regular Ramen packet. You could boil noodles with it for extra flavor, or use it to stew meat. Its also good alone with some oyster crackers!

When I first opened the container I took a sip out of the carton and wasn’t too impressed with the flavor, so I didn’t want to use it as a soup/ramen base. I instead used it to finish cooking some rice noodles (instead of vegetable broth as my recipe required) for vegan Singapore noodles, and that’s where this broth’s flavor shined! I loved the flavor of this broth with other spices added to it. I was a bit surprised about how much sodium is in it though, considering it didn’t taste very salty. I would definitely buy again for making Singapore noodles, especially if there was a lower sodium version in the future.

Maybe it’s because I haven’t had much ramen with a cream-style broth. Maybe it was the kelp. But I wasn’t a big fan of this. You don’t taste the kelp as much as you smell it, but man, do you smell it. Which meant it tasted better than I expected. But you can’t avoid smelling something that you’re eating, so it still messed with my head. I ended up throwing out the leftover broth once I ate my noodles/etc out of it. I love sushi, so it’s not like seaweed grosses me out. I just didn’t like being so prominent in this context. I’m curious about what their miso broth tastes like. It’s possible that a different variety of broth from this company might taste better to me. But I don’t know if I’m curious enough to spend money on it.

I really enjoyed my Ramen Broth by Oceans Halo. I added a stir fry veggie mix and some chicken to it as well as some stir fry noodles and it was great! I felt like it was filling and healthy and didn’t have bad ingredients, however the sodium content was a little much for me.

Really tasty! The first thing I noticed was the impressive the ingredient list; all organic ingredients and no preservatives or artificial junk. In terms of flavor, it certainly packs more of a punch than what you’d imagine from a typical store-bought broth. It has a strong umami flavor and was genuinely quite delicious. Is it comparable to an actual restaurant-level ramen broth? Of course not, but it certainly tastes better than your run-of-the-mill stock and it’s a great item to keep in the pantry.

The ramen definitely had a very salty bitter taste. I guess that is expected, as it comes from seaweed/kelp. Obviously it is great to have a vegan alternative to soups. If the salt was a little less, I think this would be perfect.

I love this it’s so easy to prepare and looks lush. Thinly sliced scallions makes it look great! It tastes like restaurant quality or even better. You can but noodles or use what you have. I want to try it with other noodles such as Udon and Rice noodles. For fusion you could throw some Tortellini In it. I will definitely keep this in my pantry. We used white ceramic spoons and chopsticks to eat it because it even more enjoyable that way !???

I expected this broth to be more clear and was surprised at the thick color. That made me read the ingredients and made me wonder why they had to put soy milk in this broth. The taste was OK, just not what I expected for a noodle broth. If the broth was thinner without soy milk, I would use it more.

When I received the vouchers I was so excited to try it out. When I was at the store with the ramen in my hand, I decided to use both vouchers to purchase the cartons of ramen broth, because I was sure I’d like it. I would’ve purchased the miso, but I exclusively make miso with fresh refrigerated paste. I know, I’m a miso snob haha. I just made the ramen broth today and, when I opened it, the milkiness caught me by surprise. I let it slide and went ahead and heated it up and served it up with ramen noodles and green onions. I have to say that it was just too weird. You can definitely taste the tamari but the soy milk, I think, was unnecessary. The weird creaminess was just not needed. In order for my family and me to be able to eat this, we had to add lime and Sriracha… Lots of it.

Ocean Halo’s Ramen Broth packing is really good and it can be easily noticed in the aisle. I prepared Ramen noodles with the broth and it was good. The kelp which is ocean farmed is the main ingredient in this vegan broth.It was easy to prepare and the broth itself was thick and packed with vitamin D and iodine.So if you are looking for a healthy vegan broth then this will a right choice. I used this ramen broth to make jackfruit pulled sandwitch which also turned out to be good. The smell of the broth while cooking is the only thing that i cannot stand , but its ok.The most important thing to look for is clean ingredients and how it gives benifit to our health and well-being.So for my family this Ramen broth will be a new addiction.
