Reviews for Broths:

Meagan P. from Auburn, Washington

I really enjoyed trying the Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth. One of my concerns is that it might be too salty, as many broths are. In my opinion, this broth is just right. We used it to make some delicious ramen and I would definitely recommend it to anyway who enjoys Asian style cooking.

4
Virginia L. from Lewisberry, Pennsylvania

Ocean’s Halo Ramen broth had a smooth finish and a nice creamy savory taste. If you love Asian cuisine, I would recommend this product. I’m not a big fan of soymilk, which this does have in it. However it did give it a unique creamy taste!

3
Cara D. from Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

I was pretty excited to try this considering I eat ramen quite often as it is quick and easy. However, this broth was not for me. The smell of it kind of threw me off and the taste was not much better. For me it was not terrible, but I would not get the Ramen broth again. I might consider trying one of Ocean Halo’s other broths, though.

1
Tamika G. from Williamston, North Carolina

I used my HALO Ramen Broth with noodles. Unfortunately, the broth left quite a bit to be desired. It lacked in flavor, as well as depth. For that reason, I would not purchase it again or recommend it to family and friends. [As all questions below must be answered and I did not have an option to select “none”, I selected Miso as another flavor I am “excited” to try]

4
Tara R. from Cumming, Georgia

I cooked a pork roast in my slow cooker on low and added Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth with Ramen noodles and tasty greens in asian flavors and it was delicious. It was so flavorful that there is only a small portion left which I will be finishing off tonight. Cannot let that go to waste! I cannot wait to try other recipes with it. There is also Miso Broth as well.

Julie B. from Ocean Springs, Mississippi

First, thank you for allowing me to sample the Ocean’s Halo broth. Unfortunately it was not well received in my home. I used it as I would use other broth in my homemade soup. I, nor my kids cared for the taste.

5
lanell Y. from Columbus, Ohio

I liked the packaging, It was a little tricky to find in my area but well worth the hunt. The flavor was very good i used it in with veggies and chicken. I did tell my friends and co workers about this product. I will also be purchasing this again in the future. Thank you for the Sample it did win me over.

5
Suzie R. from Englewood, Colorado

Very tasty. Made our own noodles. Used fresh, cooked veggies. Mini corn ears, peas, carrots, squash. Few spices. Was a thumbs up! Thank you Social Nature for the free sample + coupon. And thank you for the opportunity to try all these wonderful products ✌✌

5
Brenda P. from Colorado Springs, Colorado

Yum, yum, yum. That’s pretty much all I have to say:-) This was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed it and my family did too. It had an awesome taste and I will be buying this again.

4
Theresa R. from Elgin, Illinois

Ocean’s Halo’s Ramen Broth is pretty good. I liked the consistency of the broth it wasn’t too think or either too thin. The flavor was there but not over powering like so other broths I have tried.

4
Nicole A. from West Sacramento, California

The broth was good. I didn’t realize it was seaweed based which I am personally not a big fan of. However, it was still very tasty and smooth. Easy way to make ramen!

5
Sophia B. from BRONX, New York

Plain and simple: this ramen broth is incredible. Made it for our family, together with noodles, chicken, soft-boiled egg and vegetables, and it was a hit with the kids and adults alike. A perfect, warm, hearty dish for any time of year, and also a plus that it’s made from sustainable ingredients, so it’s earth-friendly to boot! Highly recommend!

5
Shelvia M. from Cleveland, Tennessee

Halo ramen broth did wonders for my home made chicken soup it gave it a flavor that makes you want to add to every meal. I would highly recommend it and its a great price.

5
Anne G. from San Diego, California

I was so excited to receive a coupon for a free Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth from Social Nature. I finally found the product in the Asian products section of one of my local WalMarts. I love authentic ramen, and can no longer tolerate the taste, poor quality, and poor nutrition of other “ramen-like” products. Ocean’s Halo is organic and vegan – the first I’ve seen of this – and it was absolutely delicious. I added lots of fresh veggies, tofu, and somen noodles, and I had a quick, healthy, yummy dinner, all for a fraction of the cost if I had gone to a restaurant to eat. I liked it so much that I also picked up the Miso flavor!

5
Carrie C. from Phillipsburg, New Jersey

I made a tasty ramen bowl with a mix of veggies and black rice ramen, it was so good that I will put this on repeat and have it again! I will probably mix up the veggies and add bok choy next!

4
Maria C. from Park City , Illinois

I used the broth with noodles, my kids loved the taste, it has vitamin D, gluten free, perfect for kids and healthy heart. It had such great taste we could eat soups on the daily.

4
Karen D. from Wichita, Kansas

I love this ramen broth! It has the perfect amount of flavor with my ramen noodles! I usually know which ingredients to add, but what I was missing was the broth and the ingredients are super healthy and light! Definitely will buy!

5
Elena D. from Winter Haven, Florida

I normally buy “solid broth squares” for my soups but the problem is that I sometimes find them too salty… I tried oceans halo ready liquid ramen broth and was very pleased with the result! I made zucchini noodle and used oceans halo ramen broth as a base for my veggie ramen noodle bowl, I added mushrooms, fresh green onion and carrots! The broth came out savory but not too salty, it is vegan and gluten free!!!

5
Chris O. from Austin, Texas

This stuff is so delicious. I usually doctor up broths prettily heavily, but this was good right out of the box. It has a deep, rich flavor. Just make sure you use the right noodles!

4
Jennifer M. from Palm Bay, Florida

This broth was a great surprise! It had a light herby taste, and made a great base for a chicken noodle soup. I love that the broth was healthy and didn’t contain all the chemical additives in some other broths, and it saved me from painstakingly making my own broth. What a great shortcut and time saver!

1
Debbie Q. from Huntington, West Virginia

I could not find Ramen broth product at the stores in this area. I wished it was available for me to try. What attracted me to this was a broth that is organic and it contains vitamin D.

4
Kim R. from San Antonio, Texas

This was a very different kind of broth than I am used to using when I cook. At first I was concerned that it may not fit in with my usual cooking routine; however I was pleasantly surprised that it provided great flavor and was just as good if not better than other broths I have tried. It added a very earthy flavor and really made the dish a success!

4
Angel S. from El Paso, Texas

The Oceans Halo Ramen broth was really good. It has a good flavor that isn’t overtaking flavor to add to pasta. I love the nutrititious ingredients. The only negative factor is the high sodium content, I’m sensitive to high sodium products so I needed to dilute the broth with water to help with the sodium levels.

4
Carline O. from North Miami, Florida

The Ramen Broth was pretty good. And, I couldn’t have tried it at a better time. I made it to go along with a nice afternoon lunch for my kids and they were actually asking for now. The taste has a nice subtle balance. I would actually consider buying more.

5
Lucy V. from Hollywood, Florida

This was such a great base broth to put together a yummy bowl of ramen and veggies! Not only was it delicious but it was also super convenient….It can easily be spiced up for a kick with some sriracha and freshened up with some fresh lemon juice!

5
Deborah L. from Penndel, Pennsylvania

We really loved this. It was very tasty. We bought it at our local Walmart so it was convenient both to buy and to make as well. We added whatever noodles we had on hand and it was a quick, delicious meal ready to go. Would definitely purchase again. My first voucher was lost in the mail and I am really glad Social Nature had some extras and my family had the opportunity to try this product!

4
Stephanie H. from Dallas, Texas

This was great for creating my own ramen at home – just add your own noodles and veggies. We gobbles it up and it made for a quick meal. Easily to find in the Asian food aisle of Walmart. #trynatural #gotitfree

5
Sally D. from Grapevine, Texas

This broth tastes great and perfect for noddles especially the Miso one. Love that it made with organic ingrediants. My husband and I love it. We will definitely repurchase it.

5
Saema A. from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Wow. Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth is surprisingly delicious. I made homemade ramen using this broth, vegetables, egg, and chicken, and it was better than some ramen I’ve had at restaurants. I love that this product is has an umami flavor profile and is still VEGAN. Can’t wait to make ramen for friends using this broth.

5
camia G. from Memphis, Tennessee

I really like the ramen broth I used it like any other broth and made pasta, delightful. I will b trying the other ones maybe to make a soup.

5
Bhoomi G. from Parlin, New Jersey

I received Ramen Broth free coupon. I used it first time, it taste is awesome and delicious. I added instant noodles on it. I recommend this product

5
Kristina S. from Henderson, Nevada

There is nothing more that I love then a broth based soup. I like the clean ingredients and the taste. Something I would definitely buy again!!

5
Jodie G. from Little Rock, Arkansas

This was so good I really enjoyed it. The taste was nice. I cooked it with some egg noodles and came out perfect I recommend this broth for anyone who enjoys them.

4
Jennifer L. from Las Vegas, Nevada

This broth worked well as a base for my veggie soup. It’s hard to find tasty premade vegan broths aside from vegetable broth. This was a great option. I just added my veggies and gluten free noodles and additional spices. Yum!!! So much flavor!

1
Jessica D. from Jacksonville, Florida

I heard about this on Social Nature. I would not tell a friend about it. I am glad this was a sample because I opened it up to have some and only a little had of a it, Did not care for the taste. I will not be purchasing this in the future.

5
Jennifer J. from Gresham, Oregon

I used this broth to make ramen for my children as they love it from a package but I want to avoide any extra additives. Well, it tasted way better then prepackaged ramen!

4
Alexis O. from Rochester, New York

We enjoyed this broth and felt good eating it, as it’s made from seaweed.
It’s also versatile. We made two soups with it, one a fresh veggies rice noodles ramen, the second we added chicken and turned it into gumbo of all things! Vert tasty soups. Would purchase again, especially for the added nutrients it provides.

5
tiffany L. from Aurora, Colorado

WHOA. I didn’t think I was going to be blown away by broth but Oceans Halo really won me over. I loved the taste of the broth and it really upped my ramen game! The taste was multi dimensional and paired well with pork, egg, onions and spinach. I don’t want to compare this to the ramen broth I had in Japan but it really was reminiscent.

3
jess R. from Denver, Colorado

This was a bit disappointing because I feel like all I really tasted was salt. I usually use water as abase for my soup and I thought this was going to have more flavor.

5
Dana B. from Waxahachie, Texas

Ramen broth was very good. I loved that it is versatile and can be used with many recipes. Being vegan is a plus for my family. My daughter uses it often on just plain noodles. We will purchase again. Next time I’m trying the Miso broth.

5
Shellanne F. from Orange Park, Florida

I was trying to find a recipe for clear soup. I fell in love with clear soup. And after trying this broth it was so good… I love that I don’t have e to make it myself. And the ingredients r good for u…

5
Becky T. from Tacoma, Washington

This may be the best store bought broth I’ve had. Great flavor, low calories, and vegan! It’s a nice kelp flavor without any overwhelming seawater flavor that kelp sometimes brings. The ramen I made using this was the best homemade ramen I’ve managed to make ever!

4
Nancy W. from Houston, Texas

I was able to try Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth courtesy of SocialNature in exchange for honest feedback. I appreciate having this as an alternative to chicken broth. It has well-balanced flavors and although it contains soy, it is organic and non-GMO. I consider it a bonus that it provides vitamin D and iodine and also that it comes in a resealable container! I wish it was available at more stores near me.

3
Anika D. from Irvine, California

I got this Ramen broth at Walmart and thought it was ok. I used it to make soup and also used it in noodles and chicken stir fry. Glad that it was organic and non GMO and was not too salty. Clean ingredients is another plus!

5
Caitlin M. from Tigard , Oregon

This is very good! We used it to make soup multiple times. Super convenient and last for a while. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

4
Lacy C. from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina

Loved the flavor. Decided to make chicken noodle soup since the crazy weather brought the crud with it. Turnedout great! Super easy to use as well.

5
Danielle F. from Antelope, California

I thought this was really yummy, I make instant ramen a lot but I like to tweak it so it’s more of a meal then a snack(adding vegetables and/or meat) this added another depth of flavor easily and I think it was healthier then the flavor packet that normally comes with instant ramen, I can’t wait to try to miso variety!

5
Lauren K. from Chattanooga, Tennessee

I received #OceansHalo Ramen Broth for #free in exchange for honest feedback from #socialnature. This is an organic, boxed alternative to regular chicken broth. It tasted fresh, unlike some canned broth I have bought in the past. It is #glutenfee w/#vegan ingredients making it appealing to lots of people! Enough broth for two uses (two soups or meat dishes for a family) It is resealable & #healthy. Loved it!

5
Olesia P. from Carrollton, Texas

First of all it was really hard to find it, among the rest broths this one can’t be found.
I put udon noodles, also I tried it with instant ramen noodles. Tastes good and for sure I want to try more, especially Thai coconut broth. Yummy!

3
sue C. from Austin, Texas

I have to say the broth might taste better than 3 stars. I gave it 3 stars because I didn’t like the flavor when it was mixed up with the ingredient packages came with my Udon noodles. The good thing is I don’t think this broth use MSG, because when I have MSG I need to drink a lot of water. That is my major concern when I purchase a broth. Also, I know this brand from their seaweed snacks, which happen to be my favorite one.
