I absolutely LOVE the Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth! It’s simple, organic, and delicious! It makes cooking homemade ramen soup at home super easy and quick, which is perfect for a busy single mom like me! All I have to do is add in my favorite noodles and veggies and “BAM!”, I’ve got Ramen soup that tastes homemade, fresh and better than anything you’d get at a restaurant!

Pamela D. from Meriden, Connecticut

Oceans Halo ramn broth was very good! It had a great flavor and not too salty. I mixed it with noodles and it was great. I would definitely purchase again

Alicia S. from San Antonio, Texas

I could not give this a review because everytime i went to the store the product was not in stock. sadly, i was unable to sample. maybe next time social nature should mail this product instead.

4
Valerie L. from Montgomery, Illinois

This product has a great flavor. It enhances other foods. It is convenient. The only problem is that I had a hard time finding the product in the store.

4
Allie C. from Hobe Sound, Florida

I mean, it’s broth? It’s good but it’s kinda hard to go wrong with broth. I really don’t know what else to say, I guess if vegan eating is important to you this is a good option.

3
lucia M. from Miami, Florida

It was good but for my taste a dirent like it at all. I mean i am from the caribe and the sazon its diferent.i asume the asia guys they will love it. It was good and had a lot of flavor.

3
Alyssa L. from Gainesville, Florida

Maybe it’s because I’m unfamiliar with kelp, but the upon first smell/taste, I thought that it wasn’t like any other ramen broth I’ve had. It has a kind of smoky flavor. It tastes fine, but I wouldn’t use it again as a ramen broth. I used the rest for a congee and I felt it was better suited in that dish.

5
lisa S. from Ashburn, Virginia

This ramen broth was delicious ..my family enjoyed the taste .it wasnt too salty at all .some prepared broths are quite salty ..I would definitely recommend this product .

4
Dara B. from Madison, Wisconsin

This is pretty good and an easy base to make a soup/dinner with little time. We added rice noodles, broccoli, and some tofu cubes. It had a nice flavor without being too salty or fishy as some ramen can be sometimes. I love that it works for a vegan and gliten free diet and is organic. Very versatile to have on hand.

2
Rosealee R. from Meriden, Connecticut

It didn’t have the taste I was looking for i like ramen but wasn’t feeling this brand plus it was hard to find not avaliable in regular stores won’t be buying it

3
Robbin B. from cherry hill, New Jersey

I simmered beef brisket, shitake mushrooms & onions with the ramen Broth and it turned out very well . Then I made my famous French Onion Soup with the rest of the broth and it was really tasty. I liked the idea of salting my own broth instead of getting nothing but salt with other products that I have used. I will be purchasing this broth instead of my usuals!

3
Amanda L. from Lansing, Kansas

I like how easy it is to use. The flavor itself wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. I wish it came with an actual recipe instead of ideas.

3
Brandy T. from Fort Worth, Texas

Kept it simple and made instant noodles, flavor is good but might taste better with fresher noodles. Will have to experiment some, as well as check out some of the other flavors!

5
Kristina S. from Sacramento, California

I was recently struck by the flu and i used this broth to make a soup. I wanted to try this out because I have read so much about the health benefits of seaweed so I thought I would try this out. I’m no chef but I used this in a slow cooker recipe for a homemade chicken noodle soup and it was delicious. I am finally feeling on the mend and plan to try this out in other recipes as well. Definitely recommending this very tasty Ramen broth to all my family and friends!

2
lisa M. from Redford Charter Township, Michigan

Unfortunately I was unable to find this in the stores by me to test it. I was bummed because I really love ramen broth! I will try to look for it in the future once it’s somewhere by me.

5
Lacey M. from Little Rock, Arkansas

I love Ramen. I don’t love all the terrible salt bomb packets that come with them. This broth is so delicious and all the things I’m looking for, gluten-free, organic, non-GMO and most of all it uses REAL kelp. It provides that authentic noodle house flavor!

5
Kelly L. from Long Beach, California

I often love making soup noodles on cold nights for dinner. This broth has really helped to spruce up our dinners while helping to keep the ingredients clean.

4
Janna E. from Colorado Springs, Colorado

Tastes like a slightly healthier version of ramen broth, not as salty. I appreciate that it is vegan and gluten free, it could easily be dressed up with noodles, veggies, and a protein. I’m interested in the miso flavor next.

4
marie H. from Northbrook, Illinois

i did not realize this contains soy milk with their broth. Initially I was more into broth and unhappy with soy, but i tried and it s tasty…Try before you buy is best suggestion….

wendy R. from Ocala, Florida

Couldn’t find at my local Walmart or any other grocery. After making several trips around my town, I was never able to find this product. Very disappointing.

5
Candice W. from Santa Ana, California

Ramen Broth by Ocean’s Halo is such and easy way to enjoy homemade ramen at home. Just add some veggies and noodles or maybe a little tofu and you have yourself a meal.

4
Nicole F. from Somerdale, New Jersey

We used this to make a quick soup on an evening I was running behind. I really enjoyed the depth of flavor. It is easy to find in store and super easy to use. We will definitely be getting this again as we love noodle soups.

4
Lindsey H. from Tampa, Florida

The Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth was very easy to use to put together my meal of ramen with this broth, noodles, and some veggies thrown in there as well.

4
Katie T. from Glen Ellyn, Illinois

Disclaimer: I got the normal (red) ramen broth for free curtesy of social nature?. It was pretty good, I mad some soup with it and it had a really good flavor. Thanks for letting me try it!

5
Lauren B. from Arvada, Colorado

I love ramen, but making it at home always seemed daunting for some reason. With this box of ramen broth, I just tossed in my favorite veggies and some tofu and it was ready to enjoy! It’s at Walmart, which is always super easy.

4
raven S. from Nashville, Tennessee

It was really good. I thought the broth had a good amount of flavor and it’s very versatile. Your bowl of ramen will be much better than the little brick of ramen you buy at the store. I added veggies and seaweed and it was wonderful.

4
Amy C. from Lynnwood, Washington

I had the opportunity to try Ramen Broth by Oceans Halo thanks to social nature for sending me a free voucher! I was on a rush with the kids one night and didn’t have time to stop and make a real healthy, filling dinner as I usually did and decided to pull the ramen broth out and do a quick soup. I just put some tofu, noodles and some veggies I needed to use in a lot and let it do it’s thing, not having high expectations given my lack of effort that night. I was ecstatic with the results! My kids wanted more and have asked for it or talked about it almost every night since. I loved it and regardless of my kid’s opinion would have bought it just for myself but now im using it for a variety of things like stuffing, soups and I even tried it by pouring it as a basting method for my turkey and grilled fish. Some things will work better than others but that’s for you to experiment with. Ramen Broth by Ocean’s Halo is affordable, easily obtained, versatile and liked by all. TRY IT!

4
Anna K. from Tampa, Florida

I really liked it, it just took a long time to find it, it stated that id be able to find it exclusively at walmart, it took me going to 3 different walmarts before i found it.

4
wendy B. from manvel, Texas

I wasn’t sure that was going to like this as seaweed often has a strong fishy taste. My husband used this as a ramen base and he was very pleased. Makes an authentic easy meal.

5
Amanda B. from Belleair Bluffs, Florida

Great product great addition to the meal. My entire family enjoyed halving something different for dinner. I think it would be great to add to other soups

3
Tiff P. from Sharon, Pennsylvania

Overall, this was a fun concept but the taste was lacking. We weren’t fans. It has wholesome ingredients and is for a greater good, but we won’t buy this again.

4
Stephanie H. from Niagara Falls, New York

I’ve overlooked this product so many times at Walmart and I don’t know why I haven’t picked this up before! I always did wonder how I could make my own ramen broth but after some research I gave up because it required too much effort to make. I personally really enjoy my ramen with eggs–either boiled or cracked into the boiling broth so that is how I used my ramen broth. Next time I might step it up and add some meat and perhaps some spices.

1
Jeri C. from North Chesterfield , Virginia

We made this ramen broth and then added steak, noodles, cilantro and lime. I was not expecting the milky white broth and had expected more of a clear broth. I did not like it at all and could not eat more than a few bites of it.

4
Almire S. from Henderson, Nevada

I tried Ocean Halos Ramen Broth with some fish and fish. At first glance, I was surprised at the color of the broth. It was an unexpected, and I’m sorry to say, a little unappetizing color and texture. I was expecting a clearer red ramen broth. What I got was a green and slightly grainy broth. However, upon first taste, it wasn’t so bad. It actually reminded me more of a creamier miso soup, if anything. I enjoyed my bowl without any noodles, but still thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, especially one who enjoys cooking.

5
Marcia H. from Kissimmee, Florida

Excellent broth for a tasty, less sodium, less calories, healthy meal. I used the broth for seasoning some chicken thighs along with some wide noodles. I used the broth to bake the chicken and when it was baked, I boiled the noodles in it. I saved some if the broth for a creamy side sauce to pour over the completed dish. I am replacing my old broth with this as a healthier alternative.

3
Dorothy P. from Delaware City, Delaware

This was just okay. It wasn’t very flavorful. I appreciate that it comes from sustainable sources and is vegan and gluten-free. The size is good because it gives you room to make a larger amount rather than those single serve ramen bowls.

5
Jennifer T. from Hedgesville, West Virginia

I love that this is healthy and has natural ingredients. It’s so easy to use and very convenient to keep on hand for a variety of recipes. I enjoyed the taste and there’s a few other varieties that I look forward to trying.

3
Jennifer J. from Riverside, California

The flavor of this broth is just okay. It reminded me of miso. It was easy to find at the story and the price was very reasonable. I think it might have been better if I had proper asian ingredients to make an actual ramen soup. I was hoping I could use like I use chicken broth or veggie broth, but it can’t be.

3
Donna T. from Longmont, Colorado

I used this to make homemade egg drop soup. The broth was ok, but I found I had to add a lot of seasoning to get the taste better. Not entirely sure what it was, but it was on the bland side. The upside to that is that it makes this product versatile, much like tofu; absorbing the flavors of what you cooked it with/in. May not be something on my regular shopping list, but I wouldn’t mind trying to transform it someway else in the future.

4
jennifer O. from Lincoln, Nebraska

Ocean Halo Ramen Broth is a healthily choice for people on the go. It makes a quick easy lunch or diner in 10 minutes or less (faster if you use left over ingredients).

5
Carrie P. from Metairie, Louisiana

Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth has just an amazing taste. We did stir fry with vegetables and shrimp one night for the kids and they ALL eat it. Now, my only issue was it took me a while to find it in the store. Walmart keeps Ocean’s Halo products on the Asian aisle. I can’t wait to try the Pho one next since we make Pho several times a year and it’s one of my kids favorites. This was the best Ramen Noodles I have ever had. #freesamples #trynatural #gotitfree

5
Khrystina S. from Sacramento, California

Omg I just love, love, loved this! I poached pork and simmered Shitake mushrooms in this broth and then i added cooked ramen noodles. Let me tell you how much my kids loved it and said it was better than any take out ramen soup! Also love that I know they are getting something more than salty bullion cubed broth since this is made from nutrient-packed seaweed. Thank you so much!

2
Jessica M. from Huntersville, North Carolina

I was hoping to enjoy this product because ramen is one of my favorite dishes. Unfortunately, the taste of this wasn’t authentic and was overwhelmingly salty. For a quick recipe, this product may be okay for some people who don’t mind a pre-made broth, but I think the extra effort to make your own broth is worthwhile both in taste and for your overall health.

3
Tina B. from Selden, New York

I was not a fan o the taste of this at all. I tried it with pasta and veggies and also by itself (as I often drink hot broth when I am sick). I wasn’t a fan of it either way. If I had nothing left in my pantry, it wouldn’t be the worst thing, but I think this was a miss for me 🙁

4
Farhana B. from Gilbert, Arizona

Ocean Halo’s Ramen Broth gave me the first authentic Ramen bowl experience at home where I contributed clean toppings and natural ramen noodles to the ready-made broth. My options before were either the Instant Noodles or at a ramen restaurant. Every step in preparing my ramen bowl involved only natural ingredients. The result was so tasty. I found a natural ramen garlic and pepper noodle to add to the broth and the toppings were celery, cilantro, radishes, mushroom, bamboo shoots, green onions, and a medium boiled egg. I felt like a chef, and my sister and I enjoyed the homemade bowl. My only negatives are that the broth is a bit thick for my liking and there is a lot of soy in the broth where I would not use the broth on a regular basis.

5
Nancy S. from Denton, Texas

This is a delicious go-to for making a quick and healthy ramen at home! I love the flavor and I love that it’s organic and sustainable. Great item!

4
Vertenia R. from San Bernardino, California

The Ramen broth was delicious. I prepared it with top ramen noodles, green onions, eggs, and sausage. The family loved it. Yes I would recommend this to friends and family.
